Project | Instagram and the United States Congress, Research Assistant

• Throughout the course of my senior year, I have conducted research alongside Professor David O'Connell, of the Political Science Department at Dickinson College on his project: Instagram and the United States Congress.

• The project required that I routinely collect data on incumbent Congress people’s Instagram posts and categorize such information based on assigned fields.

• The research findings will be the first of their kind and will help to analyze the ways that our elected officials use social media, specifically Instagram.
